Tornado Hits Atlanta

A Tornado hit the Downtown area around the Georgia Dome and CNN Center. The Tornado hit during a Basketball game in the SEC Tournament inside the Georgia Dome. Fans and Players were ushered to safety as the high winds tore wholes in the dome and sent debris raining down from the rafters. Players and fans returned to the court some 50 minutes later. Meanwhile throughout the area debris littered the streets, broken glass, insulation, power lines, and metal where scattered throughout. Nine injuries where confirmed in what the NWS Service has reported as an unconfirmed Tornado.
