SPC issues High Category for Severe Weather Today!!!

The Storm Prediction Center is Utilizing the High Category for Severe Weather Today. This is seldom used and can be seen as a particularly dangerous situation. Persons not only in this area need to be on the watch out, but the storms will move off to the East. This will make for a very interesting day in and around the High and Moderate areas.

6:50PM Very Strong Lines of Thunderstorms continue to move across the Midwest. There are two distinct lines. One starts around Oklahoma City, OK and extends to Omaha, NE. This line is moving toward the North East. The other line extends from just East of North Platte, NE up through South Dakota. This line is moving more NNE.
